Jamshid Haghighat Shenas (SHENAS) was born in 1962 and lives and works in Tehran. Shenas, works exactly like a phonograph, it means that he may sometimes change and interpret any sound into a line, diagram, shape, or color. Sometimes he may act as a mirror and sometimes he competes with a camera. The reflection of things, objects, photographs, and memories in the artist’s mind quickly engage his thoughts and he has no peace of mind until he creates a painting. Any change in or around him is very quickly reflected in his work. Even when he became a father you can see new elements entering his art. Jamshid Haghighat Shenas truly works like a media, anything that passes through him, his truth searching filter adds or deducts something from it and changes it into something he desires and which reflected on his canvas.
